ROUSE Hill's first brewery is set to make a splash this year.
The Australian Hotel and Brewery will include a micro brewery, tours during which people will be able to brew their own beer, a beer garden, bistro, TAB, gambling area and a nightclub.
The TAB will resemble a theatre, complete with reclining chairs and giant cinema screen, while the outdoor area will include a smoking area with a water feature.
There will also be an in-house bakery while the bistro will serve brewery inspired dishes.
Patrons will be able to cook their own meat on indoor and outdoor barbecues and the louvre-covered beer garden will provide for all-weather outdoor entertaining.
One of the site's huge water tanks will be cut open to form a play area for the kids.
The brewery is owned by the Colosimo family and its their aim to operate the greenest pub in Sydney, run on solar energy using recycled water.
The venue, at the corner of Windsor and Annangrove roads will trade until 1am providing live entertainment from the mezzanine level above the beer garden as well as private function areas.
The wall of the micro brewery adjoining the beer garden will be made of glass so patrons can watch their local drop being made.
Not only will the brewery's own label be on tap in the bar, patrons will be able to take it home to enjoy in mini kegs.
The hotel is expected to have a staged opening, with the TAB, gaming room and bar set to open in March, followed by the rest of the venue in June.
