CHILDREN who fancy themselves as master chefs can now share their recipes with the community.
Rouse Hill Families Connect will run a Multicultural Munch Cookbook competition to uncover the best healthy recipes that are favourites with families in the area.
The organisation will soon plant a children's vegetable garden and the winning entries will provide ideas on how to prepare and eat the produce.
The finished cookbook will include the 60 best recipes.
Winners will receive a free copy with a $300 garden kit going to the best entry.
To enter young participants must send in a copy of their favourite recipe and the reason why it is good to eat, along with a letter describing why they think growing their own fruit and vegetables is important.
The competition closes April 30.
Details: Entries and inquiries can be sent to munch.cookbook@wesleymission.
