MARAYONG House will hold a car boot sale at Rouse Hill Town Centre Saturday, August 28, and is seeking stallholders.
It opened in 1986, as a neighbourhood centre to service the Marayong, Kings Park, Kings Langley and Quakers Hill areas.
The not-for-profit organisation provides services designed to reduce isolation, develop friendships and help those in need.
Services include a seniors program, where members are picked up and taken out for the day, either to the centre or a picnic.
Another project is the Roving Child Care service.
Child care workers go to community groups to care for children while their parents attend educational or recreational programs.
Up to 1500 people use Marayong House services each week.
The car boot sale's $40 booking fee will be used to help the charity continue to provide its services.
