Summer Street Fair: The Rouse Hill Town Centre will feature local business stalls as well as face-painting and mini putt putt golf that should keep the children occupied. See a comic illusionist, work out with the Active Kidz and watch local dance groups. A free barbecue will be served by the Rouse Hill Rams Netball Club. On Wednesday, January21, from 10am, mothers and their toddlers are invited to morning tea and storytime at the New Rouse Hill Sales and Information Centre cafe. Then, on Sunday, February1, the Hands and Zenith New Orleans bands will provide a lazy Sunday afternoon of jazz at the New Rouse Hill from 4pm to 7pm. TV and radio presenter Andrew Daddo will host the event.

Positive Step Parenting: A four-week program for parents and carers of step-children from age6 to age12 run by The Hills Family Centre at Bella Vista. The workshop will focus on increasing positive interaction with step-children. The group will endeavour to help parents understand the unique aspects of step-families, appreciate how step-families differ from biological family units, enhance positive parenting skills for the biological and step-parent and teach skills and strategies to survive and thrive in a step-family situation.
