THE Glenwood Community Association will soon be resurrected after a meeting last Saturday at a resident's home to elect an executive committee.
Glenwood resident Bob McKay said the association was alive and well when he first moved to the area in 2001, but had been inactive for the past three years.
Many residents are still upset at the outcome of the development of a soccer field in progress at Glenwood Reserve after they failed to persuade the council to leave intact at the site trees that were part of the endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland.
Mr McKay hopes the renewed association will give residents more of a voice.
``I know the association didn't have any logo as such, but thought the perfect slogan would be `One community, one voice','' he said.
``There are 10,000 houses in Glenwood. The more [members] we have, the more we can do.''
