ROUSE Hill Town Centre has called on local community and school groups to enter the 21st Banksia Awards, one of Australia' s highest environmental accolades.
Dedicated to recognising outstanding achievements in the field of environmental sustainability, this year's awards will feature the Community Grant, supported by Town Centre owner GPT.
All community entrants into the Banksia category awards are automatically eligible for consideration for the $10,000 prize.
The Community Grant will be awarded to the community group that shows the most potential to create a lasting and positive impact on its local environment.
Rouse Hill Town Centre will help community groups enter the Banksia Awards by hosting an information session on Wednesday, June16, at 11am.
Town centre general manager Martin Ollis has encouraged all local community and school groups to enter the awards.
Entries for the awards close on Monday,August 2.
The awards information sessions will be held in the centre management office.
