Help Stanhope Anglican Church with a gift of food

21 Sep, 2010 12:00 AM
STANHOPE Anglican Church's annual food appeal is under way and is seeking donations of non-perishable items.

The church's minister, the Reverend Steve Reimer, said collection boxes would be at the church, John Palmer Public School and Quakers Hill East Public School.

The church has also had a collection box outside Coles at Stanhope Gardens Village for the past three years, but this year the box has had to be moved to the centre management office.

Mr Reimer said: "We would love to give food items to people in our community who really need them. I've had the privilege of delivering to some families and been blown away by their joy in receiving basic food items I just take for granted."

People in need or who know someone is should call 0414 296 311 or office@stanhope.anglican.asn.au"< p>
