BAULKHAM Hills Art Society's Orange Blossom Festival art awards were announced last week.
The awards were announced during the festival's art exhibition in the Castle Grand library building.
Aussie Scape by Cathy Nance took out the best in show award.
Other winners and placegetters were:
Class A (Oil/acrylic): 1st Gordon Hemmings' Chowder Head, 2nd Alan Sullivan's By the Lake, 3rd Helga Kelly's Rocky, highly commended Lyn Teal's Desert and commended, Lorraine Birmingham's The Valley.
Class B (Watercolour/gouche): 1st Barry White's Bush Twilight, 2nd David Fowler's High Country, 3rd Janice Moorey's Desert Spirit, highly commended, Beryl Lehner's Spider Grevillea and commended, Joyce Troup's The Old Barn.
Class C (Pastel, pen and ink, charcoal): 1st Helga Kelly's Oatley Park, 2nd Hilary Boltz's Amphora, 3rd Shirley Newberry's Still Life, highly commended Jenny Pride's Pharoah and commended Alan Sullivan's Feeding Fish.
Class D (Contemporary/mixed media): 1st Helga Kelly's Landscape, 2nd Jenny Pride's Unicorn.
Members only class: 1st Janice Moorey's Harmony, highly commended Manfred Mayr's Coolum Beach and commended Beryl Lehner's Hever Castle.
