INTRUDERS have sneaked on to a residential property in the middle of the day and dumped paving blocks beside Elizabeth Macarthur Creek at Kellyville.
Kevin Crowe returned from a funeral to his Memorial Avenue at 4pm on Thursday to find a pile of the blocks about 20 metres from his back door.
"I don't have a front fence and they have assumed the house is empty and driven straight over the mowed lawns," he said.
"I was filled with great indignation. Most people would go to a council site and pay $35 for the load but they've just gone and dumped this in a creek, possibly blocking a culvert."
"It's not very responsible. It shows a lack of disrespect for the environment and the people who own this property.
"This will wash down and get into the culvert, blocking the natural flow and will start to break the road down."
Mr Crowe believed the intruders used a dual-wheel tip truck to enter the five-acre property, which includes a flood control area.
It is not the first time unknown people have dumped rubbish on his land.
A truck driver tried to enter the property about a week ago but his vehicle got stuck.
Mr Crowe has started parking his vehicle at the entrance to his land.
A Hills Council spokeswoman said on Friday that the council couldn't investigate dumped rubbish on private property and the matter had been referred to the Regional Illegal Dumping Squad (RID).
"The RID squad have said they are inspecting the site today and will be in touch with both council and the owner once these investigations are completed."
