Michelle Rowland ALP candidate for Greenway

AS A local who lives in Glenwood, I am passionate about making our community an even better place to live and raise a family.

One of my top priorities is working to improve local health services. The Gillard Government will build a GP Super Clinic in Blacktown to take pressure off Blacktown Hospital and provide residents with access to after-hours health-care services.

I will work to support local jobs and help reduce the cost of living for families.

The Gillard Government will strengthen our local economy by building the National Broadband Network.

In contrast, Tony Abbott's plans to stop the roll-out of faster broadband will hurt our community and our economy.

As someone who went to school locally, I value the importance of education. I will work with Julia Gillard to make sure every child gets a good-quality education.

We will help prepare kids for jobs by expanding trades training centres and finish installing computers in our schools.
