SEBASTIAN Berticcio from Rouse Hill Public School won the most original prize for his Japanese take-out themed cupcake at the Hills Kids Cupcake Bakeoff.
He competed against 41 other finalists from 20 primary schools across the Hills district.
MasterChef Australia's Adriano Zumbo and 2009 Apprentice winner Andrew Morella were judges at the event.
Sebastian was excited to meet Adriano Zumbo because he is a fan of the MasterChef show and cooks regularly with his mum and older brother Frankie.
Sebastian was described by his principal Peter Thompson as always having a big smile on his face.
Other students were judged on taste, originality, creativity and as the Champion of Champions.
The winners included: Isabella Cabral for the taste category, Bailea Titheradge for creativity and Natasha Pellizzer won the Champions of Champions award.
Event organiser and Glenorie Bakery owner Rob Pirina said he was overwhelmed by the turnout.
"For the last seven days the Hill Kids Cupcake Bakeoff has been running at a fever pitch," he said after the event.
Proceeds from the sale of cupcakes and competition entries went towards Riding for the Disabled and the Dural-based Warrah.
