Pregnant Kellyville woman injured in collision

22 Jun, 2010 03:22 PM
A pregnant woman driving along Showground Road has collided with another car at the corner of Pennant Street.

Police said the Kellyville woman, 30, was travelling towards Old Northern Road in a silver Mitusbishi at about 9am when she hit a silver Hyundai that was turning right from Showground Road into Pennant Street.

The woman was taken to Westmead Hospital with a suspected broken arm and breathing difficulties. The male driver of the Hyundai, a 67-year-old Castle Hill man, had whiplash.

Both cars were towed from the scene.

Police are still investigating which driver had the green light and have asked any witnesses to contact the station on 9680 5399.
