The last book I read: The Western Front Diaries by Jonathan King. I love reading First World War
Australian military history. I also love
hardware DIY books (and putting their ideas
into action).
If I could be any character, it would be .th.th. Harry Potter. I already have the nerdy glasses, but the magical prowess would come in handy at times.
I spent my childhood reading: Lots! I loved reading and read mostly kids' novels. We've read to our kids every night since they were born. My eight-year-old
daughter now reads a lot and I suspect will be
a big reader throughout life.
My favourite authors: I don't really have that many favourite authors it's more favourite topics. I've read
a lot of Wilbur Smith, Bryce Courtney and
Jeffrey Archer.
My favourite movie based on a book: It's a close run thing between Narnia nd A Christmas Carol
My favourite book of all time: The Western Front by Les Carlyon. The sacrifices move and inspire me.
The book I most want to read: My Life by Bill Clinton. It's sitting on the bookshelf and I'll get to it one day when I have time.
Next month's online book club title will be Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. The News' online book club convenes on the third Tuesday of each month.
