Slithery visitors thrill children

17 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
WILDLIFE enthusiast John McGrath of Reptiles Rule returned to The New Rouse Hill last week with his reptile show, which included pythons, lizards and even a crocodile.

Children were able to hold many of the reptiles, including getting up close and personal with a cheeky crocodile.

They also learned about the animals and how they live and survive in their natural environment.

The Reptile Encounters sessions are part of The New Rouse Hill's Summer Festival program, which also includes a twilight cinema screening of the popular family movie Rio this Friday from 6.30pm.

There will be free popcorn for the kids.
