STAR striker Josh Muggleton scored two decisive goals to hand Parklea Soccer Club a grand final victory and a ticket to this year's NSW Champion of Champions tournament.
Having dominated the Blacktown District Soccer competition for the last two seasons, Parklea took out their second successive grand final with a 4-3 win over St Patricks.
The dramatic encounter went right down to the wire with Parklea securing the win in the dying stages of the extra time after a penalty was awarded.
With the scores deadlocked at 3-3, the decisive play came in the 115th minute when striker Matt Starc was adjudged to have been brought down in the penalty area.
Last season's golden boot winner, Josh Muggleton, stepped up to convert from the spot.
Defender Jason Vella told the Rouse Hill Stanhope Gardens News his team ``celebrated like crazy'' after Muggleton scored.
``It was so exciting to win the competition for the second year in a row,'' Vella said. ``All the players were completely blown away.''
Parklea were made to work for their win, giving the lead away twice in the game.
Silly defensive errors gave St Patricks the upper hand before Matt Crib scored twice to level the game up and sent the match into extra time.
``We weren't worried, even when we conceded,'' Vella said.
The NSW Champions of Champions knockout tournament (winners of every soccer association) now awaits Parklea.
They play the Dubbo and District Soccer Association winner on September 19.
