KELLYVILLE resident Joe Muscat was among the top runners at this year's Sun Herald City2Surf run, recording an impressive finishing time of one hour, one minute, 58 seconds.
Muscat, 44, was one of 80,000 runners taking part in the 40th year of the famous race and finished in 1527th place.
Winner Ben St Lawrence crossed the finish line with a time of 40 minutes, 59 seconds.
The modest competitor said although he didn't finish at the business end of the race, he was still pleased with his overall time.
``I ran last year and finished with nearly the exact same finishing time, so at least I'm consistent I guess,'' Muscat said.
Perfect weather was on show for the 14kilometre event, which starts at Hyde Park and finishes at Bondi Beach.
