Almost gale force winds and wet weather proved to make shooting very hard. Dudley had stronger court play in the first quarter. Rachel Peckover leading well and feeding into goalies well. Linda’s height was an advantage to DU for rebounds. Changes to Kingscote with Morgan into GK and Lucille coming on to GA. For Dudley, Jacinta moved out to GD, setting up a physical contest with the athletic Lucille.

Both teams warmed up in the rain as it appeared to be hanging around for the afternoon. Parndana put the first few goals on the board before Wisanger found their range. Jess Woolley was shooting accurately for Wisanger but was finding it hard to match Courtney Wood who was at her best.

Dudley United got off to a great start in the A’s, Brad Willson booting the first two goals and his team another three before Wisanger were on the board through Sam Morris.

finals were played out on Saturday at a
wet and wind-blown Wisanger. In the A Grade clash Parndana were on top early, despite Kingscote having first use of the scoring end.
